The Ark Project

Branding, graphic design, copywriting, print management, direct mail, business case planning, PR, fundraising strategy, funding scoping, fundraising applications

Tricolor was engaged to deliver a bespoke package that is unique to Tricolor – what we call a Fit for Funding Package which includes a business case for the charity and a fundraising scoping report which researches available funding and then provides this information in a ‘handbook’ format for the organisation to use internally or provide to external fundraisers.  We were also asked to create a brand vision for the project, and facilitate the branding, fundraising materials and potential programming streams for this inspiringly ambitious project.

The client, High Street Church, is a long-established congregation based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire, who have committed to building a huge new church and community centre in their parish, using only their own labour. To cut the hundreds of tonnes of wood required, the Church has even built its own sawmill.

The Ark Project, which Tricolor is responsible for naming, will be the largest green oak timber-frame construction in UK living memory.

Tricolor has recommended a phased multi-stream fundraising strategy that includes grants, trusts, direct mail donor support, e-marketing donor engagement, major donors  and continues to work with the Church on this ground-breaking project.
